Sonu Sood Explains the Difficulties He Encountered While Making Fateh

The fast-paced stunts for Fateh were choreographed by international stunt director Lee Whittaker, who has worked with Captain Marvel and Fast & Furious 5.

Actor Sonu Sood has talked candidly about the difficulties he encountered while directing the movie Fateh for the first time. Inspired by actual occurrences during the Covid-19 outbreak, the film centers on the battle against cybercrime.

He discussed directing the movie in an interview with ANI, saying, “Yes, of course, I also have to direct more films.” Naturally, be ready for the second shortly. I had a great time directing the movie, which is about the experience and fulfillment that come with being a director.

The action scenes in Fateh are one of its main attractions. The film’s high-octane stunts were coordinated by international stunt director Lee Whittaker, who has worked on Fast & Furious 5 and Captain Marvel. The film’s soundtrack has been particularly noteworthy. Hans Zimmer’s tune “To the Moon” raises the ante.

Sonu talked about the difficulties he encountered on his debut. “I wanted to collaborate with the world’s finest,” he remarked. Getting all of these people from Hollywood was difficult, but as I mentioned earlier, you have to make sure you get the best when you are doing your first. This includes the action director who filmed Fast and Furious, Jurassic Park, and the song “To the Moon,” which was written by Hans Zimmer.

Given that the film centers on fraud and cybercrime, Sonu revealed, “Everything has advantages and disadvantages. The poor are always the target of the scams we encounter, such as deepfakes and rapid loan apps. It is not about a wealthy or well-known person being conned; rather, it is about the anguish endured by an average person who is conned. We must raise awareness of it among all of the average citizens of this nation. When utilizing those cell phones, you need to exercise extreme caution. It contains a life-altering substance.

He went on to say, “You need to be more knowledgeable, correct, and make sure that everyone around you, especially the elderly, is more aware of these scams that are taking place. You are more likely to be targeted when you are in need since you are more gullible and susceptible at that time. I believe that awareness of these things that are going on around you needs to be raised in schools and universities. The younger generation takes it more seriously.

Additionally, he thanked his supporters for their unwavering support of his effort. “I sincerely appreciate your well wishes. Indeed, the entire crew is quite thrilled, and the movie is performing well in its second week as well. We have more performances that also give you the impression that we are headed in the right direction, and people are enjoying the movie so much that they keep returning to see it. It is a fulfilling experience for an actor and director to do this for the first time, and I have no doubt that this week will be fantastic as well.”

“I believe Fateh was one of those things that I would always remember and treasure throughout my life because I have always wanted to do action that no one has ever seen on TV. All Indians should take pride in this action clip. I agree, but I mentioned that I am a novice filmmaker and have a lot to learn, but I will do my best in the second movie,” he continued.

On January 10, Sonu’s film Fateh was released in theaters. According to estimates, the movie made ₹21.18 crore in its first week of release.

Sonu went to a Fateh screening with Manoj Tiwari, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha. Additionally, he engaged with both fans and individuals with special needs.
