Yogi Adityanath Will Hold the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Meeting in Prayagraj and Take a Dip in Sangam Today

While the meeting was originally scheduled to take place at the Mela Authority Auditorium, it has since been moved to the Triveni Sankul in Arail.

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will hold a special Cabinet meeting in Prayagraj on Wednesday. The chief minister and his whole cabinet will also attend the Mahakumbh festivities with the devotees.

According to an official statement, all 54 ministers from Uttar Pradesh’s cabinet have been invited to the conference, which is likely to endorse numerous major initiatives and schemes for the state, according to new agency ANI.

While the meeting was originally slated to take place in the Mela Authority Auditorium, it has now been moved to the Triveni Sankul in Arail and is set to begin at noon. The site was altered to avoid causing inconvenience for pilgrims visiting the Sangam owing to VIP security.

Following the meeting, Yogi Adityanath and the entire government will take a holy dip in the sacred waters of Triveni Sangam.

The ministers will use motorboats from the Arail VIP Ghat to the Sangam. Yogi and cabinet members will undertake devotional rituals and take a holy plunge at Sangam.

Yogi will be leading his cabinet to Sangam for the second time. During the 2019 Kumbh Mela, he took a ceremonial dip alongside his ministers, Akhada Parishad President Narendra Giri, and other saints.

PM Narendra Modi is set to visit Mahakumbh on February 5.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the Mahakumbh on February 5, where he would take a holy dip in the Ganga, perform aarti of the river, and give prayers. Later, he may visit Akshayvat, Saraswati Koop, and Bade Hanuman Mandir to worship.

During his visit, Modi is expected to recognise the workers who have made Mahakumbh heavenly and grand.

Official sources stated that consent had been received from the PMO, but the minute-by-minute protocol had yet to be received. The Mahakumbh’s final Amrit Snan of Basant Panchami will be finished on February 3, following which naga sadhus from all 13 Akhadas will leave the tent city.
