Authorities said on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 nine Indians have been killed in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian officials did not immediately provide specific information regarding the crash.
The Indian Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, posted on social media site X the accident.
The consulate said that the accident happened in Jizan, southwest Saudi Arabia. On X, Foreign Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar Jaishankar said he “grieved to learn of this accident and the loss of lives.”
