Manipur CM Pays Tribute To Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Birth Anniversary

Manipur CM N. Biren Singh honored Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, praising his legacy in diplomacy and governance, while urging dedication to transparent, people-centric administration.

IMPHAL: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh remembered former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary with reminiscence over the timeless legacy of the stalwart leader.

The Manipur CM said that the former PM was a guiding force for the nation while recollecting Vajpayee’s role in forging India’s diplomatic and security structure.

Taking to X, CM Singh said, “Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji has been a pivotal figure in shaping India’s diplomacy and national security while continuing to serve as a source of guidance and wisdom to all of us.”

He credited the principles and teachings of Vajpayee with inspiring the growth of a strong national economy and the motivation for future generations.

The Chief Minister also greeted on the occasion of Good Governance Day, which falls each year on the birth anniversary of Vajpayee. Under another post, Singh underlined that the governance should be transparent, accountable and people centric. He reminded citizens and officials alike of the need to recommit towards building a state where each individual is empowered by his or her governance.

“This day reminds us of the importance of transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance. Let us reaffirm our commitment to making a state where governance is a tool for empowerment and opens doors to a better future,” Singh said.
