Welfare of Children Government’s First Priority: Manipur CM

Imphal: Chief Minister N Biren Singh of Manipur stated that his government has always prioritised the growth and well-being of the children residing in various relief camps that have resulted from the continuous ethnic violence in this conflict-ridden state.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed his satisfaction with the recreational activities planned for the kids in the Kangpokpi District relief camps.

Since each child is different, they all deserve a supportive setting in which to express their creativity and vitality.

He praised the Kangpokpi district government for their efforts, which have so far covered 1,610 children from 34 rescue camps.

From entertaining events in parks, thrilling camp games, and football and volleyball practices to offering carrom, badminton, and other recreational supplies, the CM reported that these programs are encouraging optimism and hope in the kids.

Singh said on Facebook, “Happy to see relief camp kids having fun at the Water Amusement Park in Thenguchingjin, Imphal East!” in reference to the kids from Moreh town in Tengnoupal who are currently living in several relief camps in the Imphal East region.

Singh stated that aside from children, the government is still dedicated to supporting the populace and fostering chances for happiness, development, and a better future for everybody.
