The 7th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly is scheduled to commence on February 10, 2025, following a resolution passed during a cabinet meeting held at Tamenglong District Headquarters.
Chief Minister N. Biren Singh announced the development on X, stating, “Commencement of the 7th Session of the Twelfth Manipur Legislative Assembly from February 10, 2025. Additionally, the Draft Manipur Tenancy Bill, 2025, has also been approved.”
The Chief Minister also highlighted key discussions during the meeting, including the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 and the Comprehensive City Mobility Plan for Imphal and Thoubal, aimed at urban development and enhanced mobility in the region.
The cabinet meeting was attended by the Chief Minister, members of the ministerial team, MLAs, senior officials, and police personnel, underscoring the government’s efforts to address state priorities and legislative matters.
