Assam: Three Confirmed Deaths as Army Resumes Rescue Mission to Save Miners

The Indian Army is collaborating closely with the civil administration to accelerate the rescue operation.

Kohima: In response to an urgent request for help, the Indian Army has deployed a Relief Task Force to rescue miners stranded in Umrangso, a rural industrial town in Assam’s Dima Hasao region. As of 9 a.m., three dead bodies were visible on the ground but had yet to be recovered, according to an hourly update from officials.
