Virat Kohli Has Said That He Will Play in the Ranji Trophy Again After 12 Years. Delhi Police Will “Receive a Letter” and Be On the Lookout

Virat Kohli is set to be part of the Delhi squad hosting Railways in the Ranji Trophy

The most exciting thing about the next round of Ranji Trophy games is without a doubt Virat Kohli’s return. The Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) said it is doing everything it can to make sure everything goes smoothly. From December 30, Delhi will play Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Ashok Sharma, secretary of the DDCA, said that the group will be writing to the Delhi Police to ask them to provide more security measures while also making its own security stronger. According to PTI, he said, “The Delhi Police will receive a letter from us. We have increased our private security, so we have made all of these plans, and we will try to make sure that fans don’t have any problems when they come on January 30 to see the match.”

“Gates 7 through 16 and 15 will be open.” Anyone who comes to watch will get to see Virat bat and see the ball move, and we are ready to keep all three gates open.

8000–10000 thousand people are expected

It’s been since November 2012 that Kohli played in a Ranji Trophy game. His return comes after the BCCI gave the players a 10-point plan after they lost 3-1 to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the end of a pretty bad Test season. Kohli had only got 190 runs in the series, even though he hit a hundred in Perth.

“Virat Kohli will play Ranji cricket for the first time in 12 years, and the fans are very excited.” When word got out that he would play, all the new players got really excited. Sharma said, “We think between 8,000 and 10,000 fans will come to Delhi to see Virat Kohli because he has a lot of fans.” At first, Kohli was supposed to play for Delhi in their game against Saurashtra in Rajkot. But he pulled out of the match because his neck hurt.
